Day 18 on the Genesis II. 12:42 pm. It’s been a long day so far, with the sparring in the pit, the swimming in the storm tank, the Nyxia manipulation tests, and the classroom-style quizzes. Most could keep up with everything, but so far, Roathy and Isadora were filling the two last spots on the leaderboard. If it continued this way, they’d never be able to step foot on Eden.

Now, Defoe entered the cafeteria, where the group of teens were finishing their food. He stood at the head of the long table they all sat at, his good hand resting on the edge as he got everyone’s attention.

“Good afternoon, everyone. We have a change in schedule.” He said in that tone that always commanded the room, his words gaining confusion from the group, though Kaya was the one to voice it.

“What kind of change? Is something wrong?” She asked, her hands clasped in her lap. Defoe let out a hearty laugh.

“No, no, nothing is wrong. I just have someone I’m rather eager to introduce to you all.” He said, as the door opened again.
