Edward is part of a "religion" called "The Path of Elarion". He was brought into this cult (what he knows as a religion who'll help him get better) when he was at the lowest point of his life, only finding out about this through a friend, who he haven't seen in a long while, who's also in this "religion"

("The Path of Elarion", is a cult disguised as religion, that'll secure them a place in the afterlife. They have their own god/goddess, woman/men in the same family, it's like a monarchy when one passed the other will take the "throne" and will be the new "god". This cult isn't great, both physically and mentally, as it says that it's good to do bad, to themselves and to others, and giving donations to the current god will grant them eternal happiness and a place in heaven)

Edward woke up in a bedroom, mind completely blank, with a person next to him, when he took a closer look he realized this was the person he worshipped.
