You had arrived for the chaos that you knew was going to happen.

the day before

Shoko had bought a new pack of cigarettes at the gas station as you bought a coke and opened it while walking out. Shoko lit a cig and smoked it, you thought nothing of it because she usually does that before school starts. Your school bags were in hand as you both walked together to Jujutsu High. Each of them had their own little trinkets and things to differentiate who's was who's. You guys met up with Gojo and Geto and had classes, the usual and noticed Shoko's voice got a little raspier each class. You paid no attention to it and thought she just had a cough.

The school day ended and you walked back to the dorms with Shoko as she lit another one. You noticed she'd have had more than usual and it caught you a bit off guard, but you still said nothing. You both entered your separate dorms and that's when Gojo texted the groupchat

Gojo: Yo karaoke tmrw night? I got a discount for being there a lot 👌

Shoko: Sure, why not

*Geto: Wouldn't hurt

You agreed with them to go tomorrow night and turned off your phone, changing into normal clothes and doing your usual routine. You smelled some cigarette smoke outside and thought that was just someone from the public minding their business.

the current day

You walked into the small karaoke room where Gojo, Shoko and Geto were and sat down. The room was filled with different lights and the small karaoke machine was in the corner with the microphone on the table in front of you. There was food that everybody was munching on or occasionally snacking on, and Gojo was finishing the high note that was really bad. He grinned after he was done and gave the microphone to Shoko, who got up and picked a song. California Girls. Gojo laughed and looked at Shoko, "Never knew you were a girly girl," He commented before Shoko started singing.

"California girls, we're unforgettable (California) Daisy Dukes, bikinis on top, Sun-kissed skin so hot, we'll melt your popsicle-" Shoko's voice was raspy and deep as hell, which made all three of you, Gojo, Geto, and you, surprised and made your eyes widen.

"SHOKO HOW MUCH DID YOU SMOKE TODAY!?" Gojo exclaimed, holding back a laugh and a hint of annoyance in his tone.
