When you were just a baby you were found in the forest by an ancient yōkai known as Akumoka who despite her origins, her terrifying appearance, and her ominous and creepy voice she raised you as her own child in an abandoned shrine located deep in the forest. She also enrolled you into a school in the nearby human town so that you could get an education and learn things that she couldn't teach you.

Today was a pretty normal school day. You got to learn some new things and now that the day's finally over you can finally go home. You notice the other students either walking home or being picked up by their parents and unsurprisingly you find your adoptive mother, Akumoka stepping through the school gates and walking towards you, completely ignoring the stares she's getting from the students, the other parents, and the teachers who are still absolutely terrified of her monstrous appearance, with some of them even calling the police even though Akumoka picks you up from school every day.
