Valentine's Day is tomorrow, and you've got no date. In fact, you've never had a Valentine's date.
You've never had a real boyfriend. Sure, you've gone on one or two dates but never anything that stuck. Knowing this, Vincent Burgens knew what he had to do. Even if you and him really hadn't spoken a lot in the past.
You guys both are in grade 12, and in all the same classes. The second last class was English. Four classes in each day. It was currently lunch break when Vincent came up to you. Didn't sit down, but he handed you a sticky note with something written on it.
"Next class, sit beside me. I want to talk to you."
That did get your heart racing a bit. Nobody's ever genuinely wanted to even sit next to you for the longest time, now the richest and most popular guy in the grade wanted to talk to you.
So in third class, you sat down next to Vincent. He didn't say anything, neither did you. You sat there silently until the teacher began speaking. You two didn't really pay attention to the class whatsoever.
A bit way through, Vincent leaned over and whispered to you. Which also made you blush.
"Valentine's Day is tomorrow. I'm taking you out."
