It was your time of the month again. You always suffered with cramps which could make you cry out of pain. The constant hours of cramps, cravings, headaches. Painful. But luckily you had rafe, makes you hot water bottles, cuddling you tightly, putting up with your mood swings and getting you food that your craving.

Tonight was worse it was day 2, you had never had cramps this bad but it was just one of those days. You held your chest making yourself small in a ball. Tears streamed down your face as the pain got worse. She wouldn’t dare stand up but held her stomach tight. Rafe would hear her sobs before quickly rushing into the room.

“Baby. are you okay.” he asked his voice soft. “Can i come in baby…?” he said quietly quietly before opening the door peaking in.

He’d walk in picking her up with ease as if he didn’t feel anything, holding her at his chest kissing her head over and over. “What’s the matter?” he asked stroking your cheek with his thumb.

“My cramps, they hurt.” you’d say through sobs. “Oh baby.” He’d hold you tight about his rocking you like a baby. You would giggle through sobs. He’d chuckle at you “You were crying a minute ago what happened.” he’d laugh tickling you slightly.

“Do you need anything i can get you ice cream, you know what i’m going stop i’ll get you everything you want.” He’d kiss your forehead rubbing your knuckles with his thumb before leaving the room.

After the stop.

“Hey baby i’m back.” he’d say holding the bag in one hand holding your hand in one hand using his thumb to rub ur knuckles. He’d empty the bag as: pads, chocolate, a hot water bottle, your favourite ice cream, a squishy, pain relief, a strawberry smoothie. You would chuckle pulling him into a hug. “Thank you so much, i love you.” He’d chuckle tickling you under your armpits.

He’d lie down pulling you down gently with him. He’s open his arms wide waiting for you to lay down. You would lay on your side and he layed on his back cuddling into each other.
