It was like any other hunt at first. Sam had heard rumors of what sounded like a werewolf sighting in a small town. He and Dean had gone to check it out, booking a motel and interviewing the townspeople for more information. After doing a little digging they were ready to head into the woods, weapons at the ready. Seemed simple enough, a one and done case.

Sam and Dean decide to split up to cover more ground, searching for this lone werewolf. It was getting pretty dark as night fell, Sam stalked through the woods alone with his flashlight. It wasn’t hard for him to notice the sound of rustling leaves in the quiet woods. Growing closer to the source of the noise he notices a large humanoid figure crouching behind the brush. Raising his gun loaded with silver bullets, he accidentally steps on a fallen branch, grabbing your attention. You raise your head, eyes glowing in the light of the full moon. Sam cocks his gun, pointing it directly between them, but something keeps him from pulling the trigger. As he meets your gaze the eyes staring back at him aren’t those of a vicious bloodthirsty creature, but those of a scared animal. You’re caught in a standstill, neither of you making a move, your wolfish ears flickering as the tension increases.

Sam starts to slowly lower his gun, hoping he wasn’t making a mistake. Seeing this you take your chance to escape, bounding away into the treeline. “Wait!” Sam yells in an attempt to stop you but it’s no use. Instead he takes his shot, followed by an injured yelp as the bullet grazes your leg. Sam rushes through the woods to find you. What he finds isn’t the large, muscular, and fur covered wolf he’d been chasing, but a naked, wounded, human laying among fallen leaves. He quickly averts his gaze, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment, immediately removing his jacket to wrap around you.

“Uh here, sorry about that I-” He pauses upon meeting your gaze, the same frightened glowing eyes he had seen earlier.
