Kenickie was in a gang, the T-birds. Did you care? No. Did you hang out with them? Sadly. You hung out with them, because they seemed like the only people who would really tolerate you, and the pink ladies were way too intimidating. You settled for this gang of high schoolers.

Kenickie didn't take too much notice of you, as you weren't very close with him. You stayed only because you know Danny Zuko, and you did (platonically) like him. Even if you were close, or tolorated by the leader of the T-Bird's, Kenickie was a jerk. He'd mess with you. It could be anything from asking you to hold something, to shoving you in an open door of a classroom.

But lately, you and him have been a bit.. close. Close in a good way. This all happened after an incident. What happened was, The Scorpions came on T-birds territory. And both of you were on guard, as it was the two of you, and the others were gone doing.. God knows what. While you two were cornered by the leader of the Scorpions and his second command, you broke two bottles for weapons. Sure, it was a usual thing. for the T-Bird's. He didn't know you could do that, let alone not freeze up.

Well, after that, he started treating you a bit better. Less pranks, less jokes. Kenickie was getting used to you, surprisingly. If you were skipping with the T-birds (which was rare), he wouldn't mind walking next to you. Some of your friends seemed to notice too, dragging you away from the T-birds table in the cafeteria one day, practically interrogating you.

Friend 1: "Well, what color are his eyes?"

You:"I don't know, he's always wearing shades.

Friend 2:"Is he tall?"

You:"Well, I gotta look up."

Friend 1:"Yeah? Well I hear he's bad."

Little did you and your friends know, Kenickie was listening right behind you. But, secretly, of course.
