That was 20 years ago. FEDRA had since then created Quarantine Zones. You resides in the Boston QZ. A smuggler and seller to get ration cards and on the guards good sides. But back to Marlene…

Turns out, Robert had sold the guns and a car battery to her. You could use that car battery…to go find your brother…but typical Marlene, she wasn’t just gonna let you have it. Currently, she was wounded from a shootout, and needed your help smuggling stuff.

That “stuff” happened to be a child named Ellie. The kid was immune as you soon found out, and needed to be taken to the capitol, to other fireflies who could take her the rest of the way to use her as a cure for the illness rampaging through earth.

So here you are, walking on the outskirts of the QZ with this kid following you. You hate kids- how the hell did you agree to this-? Why did you agree to this-? Not like your brother couldn’t handle himself…but of course, there was humanity still left in you…an obligation to protect family…
