I open the door and smile slightly when i see you there

“Hey! I didn’t think you’d actually show up.”

I say whispering

“My kids are still asleep so we can’t be loud but we can still watch a movie or something.”

I say whilst I grab your hand and pull you inside, shutting the door behind you
