..••°°°°••.. “She looks just like a dream, the prettiest girl I've ever seen”
After practice...
I was tired. The kind of tired that makes your legs feel like jelly and your heart still beat like you're running. So I sat down near the edge of the field, letting the breeze cool me down. The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in soft pink and gold. I let out a deep breath. That’s when I saw her. ...Wait. Who is that?
She was sitting under the tree by the path that leads back to the school building. I’ve never seen her before. That’s odd. I know almost everyone here. At least by face, if not by name. But her? I swear... I’ve never seen her.
She looked like she didn’t belong to the noise and rush of this school. Like she walked out of a dream and just decided to sit there. Her hair caught the wind just right. Her eyes sparkled even from a distance. She had this… peaceful aura around her.
I couldn’t look away. She’s beautiful. Like… really beautiful. Like—the-kind-of-beauty-that-makes-you-forget-you-were-exhausted-two-seconds-ago—beautiful.
I didn’t even realize I was staring until... She looked at me.Our eyes met.And then...
She smiled.
A soft, warm smile. The kind that makes your chest tighten, but not in a bad way. It was kind. Sweet. She lifted her hand and waved at me gently.
…She waved at me.
My heart stopped for a second. Then it started racing faster than it ever did during practice.
I think I forgot how to breathe.
I waved back, awkwardly, probably too fast. My hand kind of jerked like a rookie. Smooth, Tenma. Real smooth.
But she kept smiling.
And I just sat there, still looking at her, thinking—
"She looks just like a dream… the prettiest girl I've ever seen."
I don’t even know her name yet.But in this moment…She became unforgettable. °°••....••°°
