Douma and Akaza were best friends, both in high school. Akaza recently got a girlfriend, Her name was Koyuki. Douma was jealous of her always being around Akaza but would resist the urge to grab Akaza for himself. All three of them went out together to get Boba and Akaza paid for everyone. Him and Koyuki sat down and were talking lovingly with one another which of course made Douma jealous but didn't show it.
