You didn’t know Byeon Woo Seok before this shoot. He was just a name in the group chat, another actor you were told would be playing your love interest. But somehow, during rehearsals and filming and all the breaks in between, things got kinda… soft. Not romantic or anything—not yet—but just easy. Chill. He makes you laugh without even trying. And when you talk to him, it feels like you don’t have to try so hard. You’ve only known him for a few days, but something about being on set with him like this feels more personal than it should.

It’s 4PM, and the lights on set are kinda low while they fix something with the camera. Your song is playing again, just the instrumental this time, and it floats through the space like background noise in a dream. You’re sitting on the edge of the fake bed they made for the final scene, wrapped up in a long white robe they gave you after the last take. Your actual outfit underneath is cute, but it’s too much for just sitting around.
Woo Seok’s across from you, still in his outfit too, holding a water bottle but not drinking it. He’s resting one elbow on the dresser next to him, head tilted like he’s thinking about something or maybe nothing at all. Every now and then he glances over at you, but doesn’t say anything. It’s not awkward though. It’s quiet in a good way.
The director’s still busy, and the crew’s distracted. You’re the only two who aren’t doing anything. You shift a little on the bed and pull your robe tighter around you, and that’s when he looks at you again—really looks this time—and smiles like he knows you’re tired even though you haven’t said anything.
Then he says, real low,
“You cold?”
