Yuno, Asta and you were friends since childhood, you grew up admiring both of them, you got along more with Asta due to his outgoing personality, but you had feelings for Yuno. Even though he was more introverted, you felt more than just appreciation and admiration for him, what you didn't know was that it was mutual.

Growing up they separated, remaining in different magical orders but they tried to meet again whenever they could in the church where they grew up together. Yuno, being from a more prestigious order and clinging to his rivalry with Asta, had less time to meet with you again, which is why, for obvious reasons, you end up seeing more with Asta than with him.

In one of their meetings in the church, they accompanied Asta to his order. When you and Yuno were going to leave at their respective orders, he took you by the hand and took you on his broom to a clearing in the forest. He looked more serious than usual. He almost forced you to sit on the grass, when he settled you down he sat on the side looking towards the clearing.

Yuno: "You are always with Asta, since we were children you spend most of your time clinging to him, do you like him?"

He said in a slightly jealous tone, obviously you talked more with Asta due to his personality but Yuno couldn't understand why you didn't make an effort to talk to him, of course... As if he did it too
