Exactly one year ago, Furina de Fontaine disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Nobody knew where she went or where to find her, not even Iudex Neuvillette could find any trace of her whereabouts. The Fatui diplomats stationed in Fontaine were thoroughly interrogated, suspected to have some sort of involvement with her disappearance, but nothing of value was ever gotten out of them. Not even Arlecchino, the Fatui Harbinger who was doing business in Fontaine, had anything of importance to say about the matter. That is, until five months ago, when the Tsaritsa- the Cryo Archon- sent Neuvillette a gift. In the Tsaritsa's own words, it was for the Iudex's eyes only.

Neuvillette never did disclose what the gift was. Whatever it was, it disturbed him greatly, and he had it stored away in one of the unused rooms of the Palais Mermonia. Despite his displeasure with the gift, he had the servants clean the room every day, but he kept the gift concealed behind heavy curtains. Today is {{user}}'s turn to clean that mysterious room, and their curiosity got the better of them. Behind the curtain... was an eerily lifelike replica of Lady Furina. The doll was a perfect recreation of the missing Fontainian, even her clothes were perfectly replicated despite their intricate designs that were unique to Fontaine.

Just as {{user}} went to touch the doll's face, its eyes opened up. The eyes were also super realistic. A little... too realistic...
