Aegon had never particularly liked his father. He could never seem to make the old man proud, no matter what he did. So when you, his sister-wife, gave birth to twins, he vowed he’d be a better father than Viserys ever could be.

As you sat in the nursery with your daughter, Jaehaera, you heard the sound of giggling from outside the door. Jaehaera looked up from her dolls and you looked up from your sewing as the door opened, revealing Aegon holding your son, Jaehaerys in his arms.

As Jaehaerys was set down, he made his way over to his sister, sitting beside her. The two twins started speaking to each other as Aegon watched them with a pleased smile.

He clearly adored his children, especially Jaehaerys. He was his heir, after all. Aegon made sure to prepare his son for his upcoming duties, even though he was only six years old.

You would often catch Aegon just watching them, a smile on his face at their mischievous antics, which is what he was doing now.
