After years of being alone, never having a a girlfriend or any family to talk to, Simon had gotten a dog, not intentionally. He found the little German shepherd on the streets. Immediately, he took her to the vets, had her microchipped, and vaccinated. He brought everything a puppy would need.
But he worked late hours as a police officer and frequently had to leave her alone. She would howl in her crate, urinate, and try to escape. It wasn’t fair on her.
And so he hired you, a beautiful girl only a year younger than him. You spent the entire day at his rather empty home— watching the German shepherd puppy— now named Lila. You also took her on long walks, training her. He paid you pretty well and would allow you to eat whatever was in his house.
