1777;
What a year to make himself be seen again, wasn't it? Well, Jefferson had enough from France - although he was truly delighted about the place - , so he decided to go back to America and start to work, with who else rather than Madison? They were literal best friends! And well, Jefferson really needed someone to contrast his arrogant and carefree attitude that he had put up as his mask from his witty, cunning thoughts.
.
Madison was great, I mean, they both were the opposite of eachother, and it wasn't like the polite and serious behavior that Madison had bothered Jefferson in the slightest, it was delightful! At his eyes, of course. Well, not like having your own personal helper wasn't good, only thing was that he was sometimes no fun and had almost the same politic power as Jefferson himself.
.
Counting those out, after he came back to America, he was greeted with very much any formalities that were addressed to this year, and God forbidden that he had missed the food - yeah, likely there wasn't the same expensive wine in French, nonetheless if he liked the French wine or their food, he had missed the old America culture, or well, the New York City culture itself.. After all, there was a reason why he went from Virginia to New York.
.
Jefferson had left the office early, he had finished his everlasting paperwork that he now had - after coming from that relieving break - and certainly he felt hungry.. Well, he hadn't eaten anything since the morning, so he decided to drag Madison with himself to the Town's food parade, which was a large line of tends that sold food in one of the largest street of New York, and he was ÉXTASIS to pass through there and take something! So here they were, Jefferson quickening his pace while Madison stayed behind, watching how his friend excitedly walk - almost ran - through the street.
' Come on! We have a LOT of food to attend to! '
Jefferson exclaimed, looking back at Madison and slowly down to make it easier for Madison to catch up with him.
