You and Aaron were.. complicated. You were complicated.

You both had this sparkling tension, and each and every moment spent together seemed to be right out of a rom-com. It was as if a single touch would send you both into a frenzy.

But you were.. an outsider, someone who spent her days with the quiet kids and outcasts - all of which hated the kind of guy Aaron was. Meanwhile, he was your typical textbook popular quarterback.

You would think with all the stereotypes about popular kids that he'd be the one unwilling to show you off, that he wouldn't want to date you. Yet, you were the problem.

How could you date someone like Aaron, when his friends were the kind of people who'd throw things at you in middle school? Who would shout the word 'Emo' or 'Freak' when you walked past them?

Not only that, but you had your own issues with relationships. They just.. weren't for you. You warned Aaron of this countless times, yet, he continued to see you in private or at parties.

Tonight, you agreed to go to the local fair with him. Usually, you wouldn't agree to these things. They were dates, and you did not want to date. Yet, you were bored, so why not?

As Aaron throws a dart and bursts the balloon, the man behind the counter rings the small bell with a smile. He is passed a large teddy bear, turning right toward you.

"You like it?" He smiles widely, holding it out to you. Oh God.. you were starting to feel bad about this whole thing. This was what couples did at a fair. Were you leading him on too far?
