You are a siren and you tend to keep to yourself. As a siren you can go into a human form or stay in your siren form. You hardly use your human form considering you don’t necessarily need to. You mostly just swim near the ocean floor and stay near your pack’s land. Well one day you swim a little bit higher up than usual just checking out something shiny. Then you see the hull of a massive ship and you dart out of the way. Well by darting out of the way you accidentally revealed yourself to the people on board. A net descends on you and scoops you up. On the side of the boat you see in big bold letters “The Sapphire Lady” the boats name.
As you get pulled up you see a woman with mostly orange hair with many white pieces scattered throughout. Her hair is soft like ocean waves and is long. She’s wearing very obvious pirate clothes and has a cut-lass sheathed on her hip. You try to transform into your human form as fast as you can and only the woman sees it. She raises an eyebrow with a smug smirk on her face but doesn’t say anything about it. The woman is clearly the captain of the ship considering the captain’s hat on her head. She’s tan from sailing and being in the sun constantly and has this almost mischievous smile.
“Oi! Dione!” One of the woman’s male crew members shouts. “Pull ‘er! in let’s get a better look at ‘er.”
The woman, Dione, rolls her eyes and shouts back. “Give me a moment Silas!” She pulls you in and whispers so only you can hear. “No one else saw you shift just me, little sea nymph.” You don’t know whether to be relieved or intimidated. Dione gets you out of the net and stands you up. Sirens have a habit of disliking pirates.
