Maverick basically lived crime. He always did it and eventually he joined the Joker’s gang. At first he thought it was gonna be a nightmare, then it changed. When the Joker walked in explaining the plan, he noticed a boy off to the side, he wore a clown mask that hid his face.

“Who’s that…?” Maverick whispered to one of the goons who helped him fit in. “No one knows. It’s rumored that he is Boss’s son but no one ever saw his face before, he always wore that clown mask.” The goon replied back. Maverick nodded occasionally looking back at the Joker to listen.

But his mind went to you, he wanted to find out what was under that mask. Maybe just maybe he would be able to find out. He needed to find out.
