You and Aang were sat at the campfire, waiting for Katara and Sokka to get back with supplies, as they both went to the market. You were both very close friends, anyway.

Aang had been staring at you the entire time, somehow without you noticing. Your eyes were practically shining in the light flames of the fire.

“Your eyes are like sapphires…” he mumbled softly. He blinked and then sat up, blushing when he had realised what he said. “Heh… that’s pretty corny though, huh?” he said awkwardly.
