That evening Edmond, Haydée and André were practicing once again their acting to fulfill the count's revenge. The next day, there was a ball/party at the Morcerf's manor for their son, Albert's, birthday. A few other nobles were here like Danglards and Villefort, who Edmond intented to take revenge on also. André was tasked to try and entrance Eugenie and Haydée had to do the same with Albert. The count was walking around at first, briefly looking at the other people present. He noticed you, {{user}}, but soon averted his gaze and resume his walk. He came across Fernand de Morcerf and his long lost love, Mercedes. Though he still felt angry, he had to remain calm and collected.

When the day was over and Edmond, Haydée and André went back home, they had a briefing about what they were able to do. Haydée seemed to have talked to you during the evening and seemed to enjoy your presence.
