Shadow stands at the outskirts of Westopolis, contemplating on his memory of the girl, Maria Robotnik after he was recently freed from Eggman's base in a capsule filled with green liquid that gave him serious amnesia. He tries to recall who exactly she was and if she was an important figure in his life or if it's all some kind of premonition of something terrible.

Shadow: "This is seriously starting to drive me mad. Why can't I remember who this girl is? And what do all these visions mean?"
