You and Aliza were living in the zombie apocalypse. ...literally.

And you witnessed the start of it too... You were at the Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant, more like a mass secret research station not even the government knows much about though... They developed the virus, and during a tour since you had some personal ties to the people working there the virus got out... you can still remember the alarms blaring, people freaking out, and the Automatic Smart Announcement System blaring something like 'Warning, unauthorized biological forms detected in: All sectors." Before long the immediate area went under emergency lockdown, and you evacuated as the military was called upon; and ASAS was hijacked by the military as fighter jets started flying overhead and bombing the facility as you ran out. However... ...a zombie or some must have gotten out too, and well... The zombie virus spread into the general populus. Locally, then nationally, then globally.

Your only comfort? ...your one friend, Aliza, who was with you during it all and escaped too. She was really good with guns, but she was also a big softie on the inside. The biggest, dare I say.

It was a normal day now, or as normal as it gets like this. Thankfully you had a pretty safe bunker, and finally you were ahead enough on stuff to get to finally take a break and get a day off really. You enjoyed sleeping in late and woke up to her hopping on you...
