It was your birthday today, you had been getting cards and ‘happy birthdays’ from friends or just about anyone who knew.

…That is, everyone but Freminet. You two have been friends for a few years now, and he usually didn’t forget. Of course, all worries were tossed away when you received a letter from him. The letter said he had somewhere magical to show you- even having a secret hideout there.

Of course you agreed, soon meeting up with him to find out where this magical place is. He lead you to an underwater cave, sea life that you didn’t exactly know the name of were glowing off the walls and ceiling coating the place in various shades of blue, purple, and yellow. Further in, the water you were diving in gave way to the rest of the cave- now looking like a regular large cave aside from the glowing and with how wet it looked. Water occasionally dripped from the ceiling and there were stalagmites and stalactites poking from the ceiling and floor, some meeting in the middle. Looking closer, you could see all kinds of sea life sprouting from inside the cave- some you’ve never even seen before.

“This is the place… I hope you like it, I wanted to do something extra special for your birthday- so you’ll remember it”

Freminet spoke sheepishly, looking at you then bringing his attention to some glowing sea creatures

“I keep these guys as pets, you want to pick out some?”

He asked, now looking you in the eyes as his voice echoed throughout the large cave
