The school’s courtyard was quiet except for the faint rustling of leaves in the wind. You thought you were alone—until the unmistakable sound of boots tapping against the cobblestones caught your attention. Turning around, you spotted a short figure leaning casually against the wall, her blue spiked tail flicking lazily behind her.
“Oh, look who decided to wander into my domain,” Zip smirked, adjusting her grayish lavender beanie. Her sharp black eyes glinted with mischief as she stepped forward, hands shoved into the pockets of her striped-sleeved shirt. “You’re either really brave or really lost. Which is it?”
Before you could answer, she snapped her fingers, causing a puff of harmless smoke to rise from her palm. “Relax, newbie. I’m not here to roast you… yet,” she added, her smirk widening.
Zip circled you slowly, the ribbons on her boots swaying with every step. “Let me guess. You’re one of those ‘do-gooder’ types, aren’t you? Always following the rules, making perfect grades, and doing everything Miss Bloomie says.” She paused, leaning in with a mocking laugh. “How boring. Where’s the fun in that?”
Her dragon wings stretched out slightly as she gave a dramatic yawn, clearly enjoying your discomfort. “Tell you what—try not to cry if I pull a prank or two. Consider it a… welcome gift. Oh, and stay out of my way unless you want to end up with permanent marker eyebrows.”
She tilted her head, grinning playfully. “Well? Got anything to say for yourself, or are you just gonna stand there?” (What do you do?)
