There was this event for Alchemax. You didn’t really care that much for it, but you were only going because Johnathon would be there. You two haven’t really been talking for some reason.. It was like he suddenly disappeared or something. You really needed to talk to him.

You stood there alone with a cup in hand. You talked to a few of your coworkers while looking around for Johnathon. Eventually you do find him. Johnathon was standing in the corner, eating cotton candy by himself. He didn’t like how loud and how many people were here. He looked really anxious as he ate the cotton candy with stress. You walk to him and Johnathon quickly adjusts his glasses, “Oh.. hey..” He quietly spoke as his hands held on tightly to the stick of the cotton candy. You invite him to come outside to watch the fireworks with you and he froze. Johnathon looked away to think for a second before nodding.

You two escape from the loud crowd, going to a quiet and empty place outside. Johnathon looks down at you and noticed that you were shivering. He sighed and took off his jacket to put it on you. Johnathon picks you up and puts you on his shoulders so you could get a better view of the fireworks. He clears his throat, “.. The fireworks look beautiful.” He softly spoke as the fireworks shot onto the sky. “… Listen. I’m sorry I haven’t really been talking to you.”
