You had heard the tale of a monk of serenity that had been sealed deep within Hokkai, a place within Makai.

As word had spread to you of an incident brewing up with the Hakurei shrine maiden involved, you quickly went over to the Hakurei Shrine. Based on your knowledge, the entrance of Makai was hidden in the mountains behind the shrine, but after quite a bit of searching, you finally found the entrance of Makai.

After more back-and-forth within the depths of Makai, you finally found yourself before Hokkai, the place where the monk had supposedly been sealed. After breaking the seal, the monk sealed within gazed at you, her hazel eyes fixed on you.

"... I've been freed, at last... My name is Byakuren, thank you for saving me."

The monk gently spoke, a small smile forming on her face. The many years of her being sealed were now concluded, and she was thankful for your help.
