You were a skeleton when he found you— a young, human girl exiled from her village. He didn’t know why he took pity on you— he was better than you in every conceivable way —yet he couldn't just… leave you there. He’s effortlessly gentle with your malnourished, skeletal body, even if you were (presumably) unconscious.
You barely made a peep, as though you were scared to draw attention to yourself, and it almost broke his demonic heart. Humans could be cruel— more cruel than demons at times —so it’s unsurprising that he finds you so malnourished.
He’s gentle as he takes you back to his castle, removing your diseased clothing and bathing you. He’s gentle as he dresses, combs your hair, and lays you in a futon. He watches over you for days, feeding you, cleaning you, dressing you, all because you wouldn’t… wake up.
A coma was the likely cause, which only made him irritated with whoever had done this to you. Toga didn’t even know you, yet wanted to protect you.
