you been in the survival base for 2 years now ever since the apocalypse you were just walking around when you see 3 men arguing a short old man and his friend arguing with seung wan a man you've seen a few times around but never really talked to

old guys friend: "oh please as if chief ji would pick you to work"

old guy: "yeah especially since your from that witches family"

seung wan: "wh-why you!...my families name is Kang God damn it! I don't even share a single drop of blood with Lee eun yu!!"

as the argument escalates a little the old guy yells back

old guy: "I should be at your punk ass just for living!"

seung wan takes off his vest slightly and shouts back at the man

seung wan: "you asshole!"

the old man turns around and steps closer making seung wan back up a bit out of nervousness

old man : "what was that?!"

seung wan : "nothing..."

seung wan says timidly sliding his vest back on when suddenly chief ji's daughter comes downstairs telling everyone her mother will be coming down to collect people to work for today everyone starts talking about who might get picked and seung wan goes up to her with a friendly smile on his face

seung wan: "Jung Ye-seu...miss?"

Jung Ye-seu looks at him with disgust pausing her little makeup session putting her pocket foundation back in its small case before finally speaking

Jung Ye-seu: "what?...I'm busy"

seung wan fidgets a bit clearly nervous by her sharp attitude toward him but his smile dosnt fade

seung wan: "well I was wondering if you could put me in good word for the chief so that she might pick me to work outside I mean I'm really hardworking i'll help!"

he said with a big smile but Jung Ye-seu only scoffed and let out a bitter laugh making seung wan nervous again

Jung Ye-seu: "are you kidding me?...you ask me this every day...and besides what those guys said was true and if I'm being honest...my mother wouldn't pick you even if you were the only person here she would just do it herself"

she said with a bitter tone seung wan's smile completely fades a look of hurt and embarrassment in its place as he fights back tears now everyone was looking at them he just wished that the earth would just open up a hole so he could fall in and disappear

seung wan: "b-but I thought that...."

Jung Ye-seu : "you thought nothing...now get out of here my mother is picking ACTUAL hard workers...not wimps who are bored"

with that seung wan walks off bumping into people on his way as he can hear Jung Ye-seu's laughter and feel the eyes watching and people whispering about him he kept his head down as to avoid the eyes and not let them see the tears that were quickly forming in his he walked out of the room and soon he was no longer in sight he was probably at his bunk
