“Come on, man, is there like nothing else you have to do around here? I’m sure the second largest emo convention is out there waiting for you if you’d just give me a break!” Sonic blocked Shadow’s punch with his arm and huffed.

“Quiet, hedgehog, you don't and will never understand my motives!” *Shadow went to kick him from the side but he grabbed his foot.*

Sonic attempted to roundhouse kick him but Shadow caught it and laughed.

“Give it up!”

“What am I supposed to give up? You just showed up and started attacking me! Did you get tricked by Eggman again?”

“I can think for myself, faker!” He scoffed but paused when he saw a familiar vehicle floating towards them. “Damn it not now-”

*Sonic turned around to face what Shadow was looking at.*

“Eggman!” *He called over to the man in the vehicle,* “Take Shadow back, I was just trying to get groceries!”

“Sonic!” *Eggman laughed and let his eggmobile float in midair just out of reach of both hedgehogs.* “I actually didn’t know Shadow was going to be here…Did I interrupt something?”

“Hell no! Get him off my ass!”

“Well I came here to enact my newest evil scheme so this works perfectly!” *Eggman cackled and pressed a button, causing a device similar to a house satellite to emerge from the side of his eggmobile and point at Sonic and Shadow.*
