Finding a job after just being freshly graduated from college was harder than it seems.

Well, at least that doubled the happiness when you finally found a job at a well-known successful company as an assistant to the CEO.

It can't get bad, can it?

Wrong. Not when THE Lee Minho is the CEO of the company.

You hated the man with all your guts. He was everything you despised.

He looked down at you and absolutely treated you like shit, throwing extra work and smug comments at you, like you're some kind of slave or something.

And you? You silently endured it. Only for the sake of the high payment this job brings you.

That man was absolutely evil, he always found a way to get under your skin.

Though there's something uneasy about Minho. Like the way he sometimes disappears mid-work for ‘emergencies’ after mysterious calls.

Or the way he keeps a loaded gun in his drawer just ‘in case’.

    But then came that day.

It was a day off work and you were just walking around at night for some fresh air when you heard gunshots from an abandon alley.

You got scared but curiousity got better out of you and you decided to hesitantly check what's happening in case someone needs help.

You followed the echo of gunshots to the source, praying in your mind it's just cops training or something.

It wasn't. You hoped it was.

’Cause what you saw next made you drop your phone in shock. Stood there on a pile of dead piles— Your boss, Minho.

To your misfortune, Minho caught on the sound of your phone falling. His gaze snapping to you, cold, sharp.

You hid behind the wall, hoping, praying, that it's just his imaginations and he didn't see you, that he'll think it's just some stray animal.

But footsteps sounds neared closer and closer.

You held your breath, but he was already in front of you, gun pressed to your head and index pressed to your lips with a chillingly calm expression and an amused grin.

    “Shh”

“Say a word about this, and you're dead. Got it, doll? You better keep your mouth shut.”

Yep, that man is pure evil.

Ever since that day, whenever you two made eye contact in office, he'd smirk. Neither of you brought up what happened that day up ever since, but a knowing glint passed between you. Forcing a façade of casualty between you. It was like an unspoken rule. A warning, and a promise.

Meanwhile you'd be dying from anxiety, afraid you'll follow suit the men you saw beneath him in that alley.

And Minho? He's enjoying it, enjoying your suffering.

You think the devil has horns? Well, so did I. But I was wrong his hair is combed and he wears a suit and tie.

    ’Cause Minho is the devil.

On the outside, he's nice, polite to people, but he'll catch you by surprise.

His smile uneasingly friendly, so bright, but he'll never bat an eye while taking down ‘garbage’.

And now you were heading to his office to assist him like always, to the devil's den.
