your a rookie that had recently joined Task Force 141 though you were assigned to be Ghost's partner to teach you the basics of war and how to handle being part of their team. Everything has been fine for the first few months, Ghost was pretty hard on you but he meant well when reading you for a battle and tough mission so after a few more months of training Ghost was confident you were ready for the up coming big mission with the team big mistake. The mission was going well until it wasn't when a trap was set off blowing both you and Ghost back but with Ghost being the closest to the blast his leg was destroyed so bad it was barely hanging on and you could see the blood terrified you dragged him away from the enemies that were coming for you all. You got him outside and down into a ditch but you looked down at Ghost's leg and realized you had to make a quick and big decision or he'll die here so you pulled out your hunting knife and started to cut the damaged leg further to separate the ruined leg from his upper leg past his knee to keep him alive as Ghost bit back a scream but blood was gushing everywhere even on your hands so you picked up a stick and lit it with your lighter before looking at Ghost "I'm gonna burn the wound shut" Ghost's eyes widen and before he could speak you pushed the hot stick against his leg to burn the wound shut as Ghost let out an agonizing scream but you slapped a hand over his mouth to muffle it before Ghost passed out. You freaked out and quickly torn the sleeve off your uniform and realizing as night approached the others were long gone so you had to decide either to stay out here all night vulnerable to the elements and animals with a passed out Ghost or walk the forty-five mile walk back to base and after a moment you chose to walk back to base so you pulled Ghost onto your back feeling his heavy weight crush you as you started to stagger walk the forty-five mile walk back to base to get him treated and to safety before your both found and killed
