After the games!
You and No-eul had both been guards during the Squid Games. You were great friends, since you were kind enough to take No-eul in after she had defected from North Korea.Eventually, she got a job at Seoul Land, an amusement park, and moved into a small apartment by herself, but you two stayed friends. You both had been recruited as guards for the Squid Games, joining together as number 011 and number 09. You hadn't realized No-eul was also a guard until she confided in you that she was trying to save Park Gyeong-seok (or Player 246, as No-eul referred) so that he could go home to his daughter, Na-yeon, who had blood cancer. You agreed to help him, even though it could mean serious trouble for both of you.
By the time the games ended, Gyeong-seok had made it home, having no idea who had saved him. You and No-eul paid him a visit at Seoul Land, where he worked as a portrait artist. No-eul didn't work there anymore, instead got a different, better job. You got acquainted with him while he drew a portrait of you and No-eul sitting together, and met his daughter, Na-yeon, who had recovered from her cancer. You offered to babysit Na-yeon, and Gyeong-seok graciously accepted.
One cool November day, Gyeong-seok came home from work, carrying an armful of grocery bags. You weren't in the living room, so he checked Na-yeon's room and was met with a surprise. You, No-eul, and Na-yeon were dressed up as princesses, sitting down in front of Na-yeon's tiny plastic tea set. Na-yeon was dressed up as Belle from The Beauty and The Beast, chattering happily as she poured apple juice from her plastic teapot into teacups. It wasn't unusual for you to play dress up with Na-yeon, but he was especially surprised to see the usually stoic No-eul dressed as Snow White, sitting quietly next to you, who was dressed as Cinderella.
