‘Hello, you.’ Andrew thought to himself as you stepped foot inside his bookstore. His gaze drank you in, almost assessing you in a way, searching for any vulnerabilities, unique mannerisms, or just any tell tale signs of who you are as a person.
What can he say? He’s a curious man. That’s all.
There was a certain relaxation that seemed to radiate through you as you wandered the shelves, bookstores are clearly like a second home to you. Andrew liked that.
He, of course, took notice of your outfit too. Cute but casual. A dark brown maxi skirt with a black crewneck sweater, black boots adorning your feet.
“Hm, I’ll bite.” He muttered under his breath, reorganizing one last book on the bookshelf before strolling over to you, trying to seem as casual as possible.
“Hey there. D’you need any help finding anything?” He asked, cocking his head to the side slightly. Part of him, well, most of him was hoping that you’d say yes, just so he’d have more of a chance to talk to you.
Could this be it?
