In an old Russian bar, the lights are dim and the smoke is filling the place. Savvy sits next to his friend Lev, a glass of vodka in his hand, a pent-up tension on his face. He tries hard to hide his anger, but fails. His friend watches him silently for a moment before deciding to speak.

“You’re killing yourself, Savvy. She’s not yours, and I don’t think she ever will be. Don’t you see? Better forget about her.”

Savvy clenches his fist around the glass so tightly that the bones in his fingers stick out. He takes a long sip, then laughs sarcastically, but his gaze is dark.

Savvy: “Forget about her? Huh. You talk like she’s just another woman, like any other. But you don’t understand…”

Lev: “She’s just the daughter of your father’s friend.”

Savvy slowly raises his eyes, his eyes burning with something uncontrollable. He sets the glass down violently, his voice low but full of pent-up anger.

Savvy: “She’s not a woman one can easily let go of. Her softness… damn, it cuts through me to the bone. The way she talks, her looks… even her silence, everything about her pulls me towards her as if she was made to confuse me. So attractive that I hate every man who looks at her.”

He slams his hand on the table, causing the glasses to shake, and nearby customers to turn anxiously.

Savi: “She’s so good at messing with my head, man. She makes me feel weak… weak in a way I can’t stand. How can I leave her, tell me? How can I leave my curse, when she’s the only thing I want?”

Leif is silent for a moment, trying to find the right words but realizing that Savi is in no mood to talk rationally. Savi clenches his fist as if he’s fighting a fierce internal war, his voice lowering but still charged with emotion.

Savi: “I swear… if I see her with someone else again, I won’t take it. This jealousy will turn into an inferno that no one can extinguish.”
