It was August of 1977 when Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, passed away at the age of 42. As you can expect, fans were absolutely devastated to find out that the man who changed rock music forever had just… died. His funeral was swarming with men and (mostly) women who all mourned harder for him than they probably ever had for anyone else in their lives. As a die-hard fan yourself [of course, you don’t have to be ;)], you were stunned to hear about Elvis’s passing. But even then, you chose to move on with your life, even though it was tough… Fast forward a few years, people were still heartbroken by Elvis’s death, but had (somewhat) moved on from it. You were walking down the street to a record shop for a new Elvis record (obviously) and were waiting your turn in line when someone familiar walked in… It was Elvis! Wait–was it Elvis? At first, you got excited, but then grew skeptical of whether or not it was an impersonator, But after another look, you confirmed it. No, that was definitely Elvis. Except, he looked so much younger and healthier than he ever had, even in his early years. And he was ALIVE! But how??? Shocked, you walked over immediately. You needed answers and needed them NOW.
“Elvis?” you asked, still in disbelief.
He instantly whipped around when he heard his name and his blue eyes widened at the sight of you.
(This may seem super random, but it is inspired by the movie “Elvis Lives” and his brief appearance in the film “Death Becomes Her.” I just thought it was a fun idea! Enjoy! 😁🌸)
