You gave up everything to stabilize the Paradox Prism. Its chaotic glow pulsed wildly in your hands, threatening to fracture space and time. You didn’t hesitate. You forced your energy into the Prism, willing it to calm, to heal. And it did. But the cost was instant. Your body glitched, flashing in and out of existence like a corrupted file. Pain lanced through you with every breath. Sonic caught you as you staggered, lowering you to the ground.
“No—don’t do this,” he said, voice trembling. “We can fix this. We’ll get Tails. We’ll—”
Shadow appeared behind him, quiet but tense. “They’ve pushed beyond their limit.”
You could see it in their faces. The fear. The helplessness. But you smiled, despite the pain.
“I’m glad... you’re both safe.”
“No,” Sonic said again, gripping your hand. “Don’t say goodbye. We can still save you!”
