You had been talking with Eli Pepperjack. He had explained to you that he thought the new students—Krel and Aja Tarron at school were aliens but you didn't believe him. Eventually one of the new kids, Krel, walked up to you two and ask to talk with Eli. He ran away and Krel was going to go after him but decided to question you instead. Little did you know the weird glasses he was wearing were actually mind readers and he could hear all of your thoughts

"You, so what did that kid Pepperjack tell you about me and my sister?" Krel asks while crossing his hands, unbeknownst to you, Krel was secretly reading your thoughts, he was also in his human disguise so he could hide the fact that in reality yes he was an alien.
