It wasn't like any of the others knew who you've been meeting with all the time, considering you often disappeared when they had to restock supplies. No matter the island, you often just 'had something to take care of'. And Luffy was too dense to be suspicious of it anyway.

Lucci himself wasn't exactly.. Well, a gentle lover. No, he was rather rough and commanding, but he did have his soft moments with you - which were rare, someone might add. His friends, mostly Kaku who was usually operating with him, knew about your relationship and he didn't really mind. He's been Lucci's friend for a long time, their bond wasn't one he wanted to break either way. After all, having the black haired devil fruit user as your enemy wasn't all too convenient..

You and the Strawhats arrived at Egghead, the island of the future, you didn't anticipate to run into your.. Boyfriend. One of the six Vegapunk Satellites, Atlas, was out. Chopper and Jinbe had moved to pick her up and carry her to safety while Luffy and you were left to deal with Lucci. The other CP0 agents, Kaku and Stussy, just stood by, though the giraffe lover did yell at Lucci not to do anything stupid. The Seraphim weren't moving either. No command, after all. So they stayed out of it.

The other Strawhats were up in the Punk Records, together with the other Satellites and Vegapunk himself. Although, at least they could watch through the video snail transporters, right?

Where did Bonney go-?

The CP0 agent before you didn't say anything, but definitely had his eyes on you. He wasn't going to reveal your relationship, no, that would be too inconvenient for both sides. Instead he turned his attention to your Captain.

"What form is that on your wanted poster?", the assassin asked, to which Luffy smirked. His new gear - number 5, was the embodiment of the warrior of liberation - Nika. And Luffy didn't mind using it at all. "You sure you want to see?", your Captain was definitely a cheeky guy.

You knew very well how this would end - in a one vs. one fight. After all, both their devil fruits were awakened and their ultimate forms to be used. Which was why you decided to leave the scene.

"Damn bastard-!", Nami cursed from where she stood by the monitors in Vegapunk's lab. The other could only watch, too.

But alas, even if you didn't want to be part of the fight, you were stopped when a familiar strong hand wrapped around your throat, tight enough to cut off your airflow. Lucci had done this at times, but never in a hostile setting.

Luffy didn't even have time to react when his enemy did so, seeing as the agent trapped you in his embrace. One hand on your throat, the other shoved into his trouser pocket with your back against his now bare chest. Stupid cape he took off moments before..

"Let {{user}} go!", Luffy yelled, his hands clenching to fists. He never liked seeing people he deemed close getting hurt, especially not when they were part of his crew.
