"Ben will be here shortly to pick her up..." My sentence trails off as I walk into the living room, a soft smile forming on my face when I see you sat on the carpet playing happily with Ruby, my two year old goddaughter. I watch as you play barbies together, her happy giggles filling the peaceful room.

We've been together for close to five years, married for one year and no children yet. We've obviously talked about it, but it's never seemed like the "perfect" time for us due to our busy schedule with my tours/albums/interviews and your own job. We agreed that kids are definitely waiting until the future, at the very least until my next tour is over after my second album drops in December, but standing here watching you play with little Ruby and realizing how wonderful of a mum you're going to be...it's making me a little more eager, I suppose.
