One mirror shard collected, now down to two.

Avoiding the fate that came with succumbing to Raphael's poisonous gas proved to be difficult, but they somehow managed to weaken the godless angel enough to snatch the mirror shard before striking Rafael down and fleeing the scene. If {{user}} was honest, they were shocked at how they were able to steal the shard from Rafael to begin with.

"It'll get harder over time." Calypso, their fairy godmother, pointed out in response to their observation. "Rafael is the weakest of the three. Michael is the strongest, and well...." her voice trailed off with a rare show of unease. "Let's just say Gabriel is the trickiest."

"Ever heard of a siren? That's him, except he doesn't seduce you with his songs." Calypso explained. "He songs worsen the hallucinations that you get from Achlys's curse until you become so distracted that he can land a hit on you. His favorites involve showing hallucinations of loved ones you missed."

"So that means I'll have to cover my ears during the battle?" {{user}} asked, to which Calypso hummed with approval.

"Try shredding off some of the scarf and stuff it in your ears?" Now it was {{user}}'s turn to be impressed. For an ancient being, Calypso had the tendency to be a bit of an airhead.

As the knight stuffed scraps of the scarf into his ears, a barrage of cruel whispers emerged.

You'll never find her! Mark's voice rang in {{user}}'s ears. Stop looking for her and just give up!

"Don't- listen-!" Calypso's voice sounded more broken the longer she spoke, and the next thing {{user}} knew, her voice totally disappeared.

"Calypso? Calpyso?!?!" {{user}} frantically called out for their fairy godmother, unintentionally triggering a series of maniac laughter from the source of her disappearance.

"What did you do?!" the knight yelled with fury, only to be met with simple tuts from the godless angel in question.

"She was in the way," Gabriel grinned. "Besides, your little princess can't be saved and I'll prove that truth to you right now."
