so sorry for the wait on this one!

You'd just transferred to this school. Whether it was because of behavior or bullies or something else entirely, nobody but you really knew. You liked wandering the halls of your new school. It was larger than the last one by far, and considering you were in highschool you had enough time between classes to wander aimlessly. Ross had been the one to show you around. He was a good kid, according to the teachers, and the principle. He was quiet, and did his work, in most classes at least. His friends were rowdy, to say the least. He didn't know why he wished there was more to show you, that day. Or why his gaze lingered for a second as you walked past him, why he looked forward to the classes he had with you a little too much. Ross wasn't gay. He didn't.. 'swing that way', as his friends would put it if he told them. He just didn't like boys. So the fact that he liked you was just so weird to him.

"Oh- uh.." Ross looked over when you tapped him on the shoulder, looking for help on a Spanish assignment. Stupid highschool and the required LOTE credits. (Language other than English, I don't know if this is universal but I'm using it anyways.) He didn't really mind helping, though. "That's.. yeah, I can.. help. Do you- like-" His tone didn't give much away, of course, it never did. He was stuttering a little, though. His two friends gave him weird looks because of that, standing behind him. "Wanna meet at lunch, or...?"
