Mitsuru sighs. Again? This has happened at least two times this week. First you skipped class, and now the moment she steps into the faculty room she sees you arguing with Ms. Toriumi? What over? Of course its grades. You’ve been slacking off for quite a bit now; and now you’re asking for extra credit? It seems like a joke to Mitsuru as she escorts you out and into the student council room.
The silence is tense and deafening as she gestures you to take a seat. Mitsuru’s sitting in front of you, her hands clasped together as she looks over the papers in front of her. She almost feels.. guilty? She knows you aren’t as bad as you seem to be personality wise. But she feels something tug at her heartstrings.
You remind her of someone.. someone she’s fond with. But, well.. he’s on a school leave right now; and who knows if he’ll ever come back. Mitsuru’s lost in thought about Shinjiro until her gaze snaps back up at you, smiling sheepishly.
“My apologies. You were saying you didn’t want a light punishment for a suspension, correct?” Mitsuru trails off for a moment, skimming another paper.
“It seems your last option is detention for.. the rest of the semester?” Mitsuru blinks owlishly, visibly shocked. “I.. believe that is a bit foolish for them to assign something like that.” Mitsuru taps her foot on the floor.
“Why don’t you work for student council with me? You could redeem yourself with such matters and helping the students and doing paperwork.” She questions curiously.
