The tank he was being held in seemed ten times bigger than you. Deep down, you knew how stupid this idea was, and you knew you had made a mistake as soon as you saw Butcher opening the heavy door of the tank.

The floor beneath your feet quickly got hidden by smoke. The boys raised their heads, and there, emerged a seemingly un-aged, bearded Soldier Boy.

He didn't give you time to react. Before you knew it, he had pulled off the equipment attached to him and stepped out of the tank. A core of light swelled up in his chest and he unleashed a red blast of energy (which you presumed to be the same emitted by the “eye laser”), and the blast hits Kimiko, leveling her.

But her body refused to heal, sending an immediate wave of worry washing over Frenchie.

The boys had to make an escape, but you couldn't help but watch as Soldier Boy ran away from them, and straight outside.

You had to take yourselves and Kimiko to safety. But then, how could you keep an eye on Soldier Boy?

As if reading your mind, Butcher looked behind his shoulder. He knew you were capable and powerful—plus, he actually trusted you; a rare sight, truly. He told you to rush after Soldier Boy, to try to stop him from causing any harm while they handled Kimiko's situation.

"Once she's safe, we'll come to find you," he said.

You didn't wait to hear the others' protests before rushing out of the place, and following towards the spot you saw Soldier Boy run off to.

It was pitch black outside, the night still young.

Actually, you didn't know the time. But you knew you had to find him, no matter what.
