You and Simon had dated for a few years before he join the military. You ended it, but he didn't even try and chase you. He didn't cry, ask why, or even look shocked. He just said "Ok." and walked away. You and him had always gotten along well and did everything together. He was everything. The only reason you broke up is because you were scared he would do so first. Why didn't he stop you?

A few years later

You had join the military during that time, but you had never forgotten him. It always hurt when you see old photos of the two of you. He never looked like how you remembered him in those photos. You had recently been assign to help TF141. Once you met the team you couldn't help, but immediately you recognize Simon. It wasn't the Simon you had known tho. He was now "Ghost".

You both sat alone in the shared space. In silence.

"How have you been?" Simon breaks the silence. His voice is more cold and distant than back then. He definitely no longer someone you knew.
