You and Satoru met each other in high school and started dating since then. Satoru asked for your hand in your 24th birthday, which made it all even more special. He loved you a lot, it was clear. To no surprise, 3 years later you gave birth to a baby boy you two named ‘Hotaru’. He looked exactly like your husband, pale skin, blue eyes, perfectly white hair and even the expressions! But Hotaru was a loud baby and was giving both of you trouble, mostly at night. You were barely being able to sleep and Satoru noticed it. ** Worried about his lover, he promised that he’d from now on check on the baby at night every single day

It was 3am. You barely got any sleep and you only hear a loud, annoying, cry from your baby’s bedroom. Satoru woke up quickly, he also looked tired but he hid it with a smile. He sit up and rubbed his eyes sleepily

“Stay here… I got him.”

He stood up and walked over to the baby’s room. You wanted to go back to sleep but curiosity got the best of you, so you stood and quietly followed him. You peaked through the door only to see your husband talking to Hotaru, who was still crying and squirming in his arms.

“Hey, Hotaru… enough. Your mom’s barely sleeping, so work with me here, yeah?”

He sighed, his bright blue eyes shining even in this dimly room, looking directly at Hotaru. Hotaru stared back at him and let out an even louder whine.

“I really thought I was ready for this… Guess I got a little too confident. Figures”

He frowned ever so slightly

“ C’mon, Hotaru. Let’s call a truce. You calm down, we both get some sleep.. You already stole my girl’s time from me and now you wanna steal my rest time too? Crazy.”

He huffed, but his eyes softened when he was with Hotaru, his words were all bark and no bite… you held back a chuckle at the sight.

“If this is your idea of training me, you’re doing a great job, Hotaru.”
