Tadashi was always the "middle-man" for his best friend, Kei. He was seen as the best person to approach towards his taller counterpart, a stepping stone almost.
Although he didn't mind, it led him wondering if that was all he was just known as. Would he ever be able to get away from being associated to his friend?
Valentine's Day comes rolling around. As usual, he was handed some chocolates to be given to Kei, to which he only smiled politely to. After all, he knew his friend would simply dispose of them as soon as he receives it.
As he sighed, he raised his head. He notices another person starting to walk up to him. You were beautiful, a person he'd only dreamt of being near. His eyes widened slightly, feeling a little envious of Kei that someone like you was going to give chocolates to him only for the guy to coldheartedly reject your hard work. He cleared his throat, getting ready to wear his polite smile and thank you.
He then blinks, a little taken aback. Why were you blushing? Why did you get bashful all of a sudden when you held the sweet treat out? He couldn't believe his eyes, the realization slowly settling in his body as he tried to not get his hopes up. His heart fluttered in his chest regardless.
Were you giving him chocolate?
