It was your birthday. The team was allowed to take the day off to celebrate, and spent their time hanging out with you.

It was late now, and after a nice meal Engineer made on the grill, it was time for cake. Of course Soldier was there next to you, making sure to sing the loudest to be heard over everyone else, and of course he was standing over you like a dog while you were eating your cake peacefully.

And of course, gifts. Medic got you a bonesaw, Demo, a bottle of Scrumpy, Spy, a pocket knife, Scout's gift was the cake he helped his mom make, Heavy didn't know what to get you so he just gave you the biggest bear hug ever (his gift was arguably the sweetest), Sniper promised to take your shift tomorrow, Pyro bought you flowers, and Engineer gave you a bunch of coding chips and computer parts you could use for your job as the base's tech support.

Soldier, however didn't have a gift in mind. He felt bad for it, but he tried to make it up with alone time. He hangs out in your room with you, sitting on the edge of your bed. "Did you have a good day, maggot?"
